The grade 7 students of the International School of Ulaanbaatar will study the differences in the 6 main types of plastics used in everyday packaging and products. They are focusing on the plastic of plastic bags and how the bags impact our environment. The students will run a campaign to develop awareness and educate the community on the hazards of plastic bags. The four areas of focus are: Production of Plastic bags, Plastic Bags in the Environment, Recycling Difficulties of Plastic Bags, and Reduce & Reuse: Plastic Bag Alternatives.
