Wolford Environmental Team » Profile Information

I am a fifth grade science teacher at Wolford Elementary School in McKinney, Texas. Prior to this I taught science, math, ELAR, and Social Studies in Plano, TX and in Tustin, CA. I spent 25 years in the aerospace industry prior to making a career change to education and prior to that spent 5 years in the United States Marine Corps, including over a year in Vietnam. I thoroughly enjoy teaching science to my students and to our community. Three years ago I was awarded the stste of Texas Air Force Association Teacher of the year for the state of Texas and I was named the Texas Project Learning Tree Educator of the Year for 2011. I love getting my students involved in caring about, caring for, and involved in our environment.
